What began as a Summer internship in 2019 for research & editing branched into contract & freelance work as a production assistant and assistant editor.
A majority of my assignments were to research & pitch new documentary films or shows.
Research and editing took the majority of my time, but I also upgraded the company’s computers, was the production assistant on multiple interview shoots, attended bi-weekly production meetings, and organized and re-painted the office.
After my internship ended, I took on work as an assistant editor for the Discovery Plus show Beauty (RE)Defined and a production assistant for season six of TLC’s Return to Amish through affiliated production companies.
